So as to reinforce communication and discuss teaching methods, on the afternoon of 1st December, in the east campus, all teachers from the Chinese Department in the Junior High Section of Anqing Foreign Language School attended a demonstration lesson and conducted discussions later on.
To begin with, teacher Zhan Ying from Grade 7 of the east campus showcased a public class with the text entitled ‘Cats’.
Furthermore, teacher representatives Tang Xiaoxiang, Ji Yukun, Zhou Hongwei as well as Huang Xiandan from both the east and the west campuses spoke out freely and thought highly of Ms. Zhan’s classroom teaching skills. Also, they put forward valuable suggestions.
What’s more, Principal Assistant& Junior High Director Lu Dan summarized the event and pointed out that Chinese teaching was supposed to be on the basis of texts. By means of unscrambling the textbooks, Chinese language teaching should be concrete& effective and laid emphasis on details in order to obtain tangible knowledge in each lesson.
In a nutshell, not only did this informative event provide teachers with an opportunity to realize mutual learning, exchange communication& expand common grounds, but also promoted the Chinese teaching performance to a higher level.
Meanwhile, warm celebrations to Anqing Foreign Language School for her first prize in the Junior High Group of the 2nd Session Chinese Traditional Culture Recitation Competition entitled ‘Refined Speeches Inheriting Civilization& Classics Infiltrating Life’ in Anqing City.
